WOCA Softwood Lye is a specialist primer designed to minimise yellowing and enhance the grain of unfinished or newly sanded softwood surfaces. Ideal for floors, stairs, furniture, and panels, it creates a beautiful whitewashed finish on pine, spruce, and pitch pine, while providing a unique antique grey‑brown patina on larch. This pre‑treatment brings out the best natural qualities of softwood and sets the foundation for a bright, Scandinavian‑style aesthetic.

Product details:

• Formulation: contains white pigments
• Coverage: approx. 8–10 m² per litre
• Final colour tone develops fully after 1–2 months
• Requires after‑treatment with WOCA Oil or WOCA Wood Soap to protect and complete the finish

How to use:

1. Ensure wood is sanded, clean, and completely dry.
2. Stir well and apply evenly with a brush or pad applicator.
3. Allow to dry thoroughly.
4. Finish with WOCA Master Oil, Diamond Oil Active or Wood Soap to seal and protect the surface.
