Frequently Asked Questions
Are EcoGrit multi-tool blades compatible with my multi-tool?
EcoGrit multi-tool blades use the Starlock fitting system, which is compatible with Bosch, Fein, and most major multi-tool brands manufactured after 2016. Check your tool accepts Starlock fittings before purchasing.
Which saw blade size fits my saw?
Check your circular saw's blade diameter and bore size. Common combinations: 160mm x 20mm bore (compact cordless saws), 190mm x 30mm bore (standard cordless), 210mm x 30mm bore (larger cordless and corded saws), 216mm x 30mm bore (mitre saws). The 190mm Star bore fits Festool CS50.
What is the difference between Bi-Metal and HCS blades?
Bi-metal blades cut through both timber and embedded metal (nails, screws, staples) — essential for renovation work. HCS (High Carbon Steel) blades are for timber only but deliver a cleaner, finer cut. Use bi-metal for demolition and HCS for precision trimming.
