WOCA Antique Oak Lye is a specialist primer designed to give oak an authentic ammonia‑smoked look without the use of hazardous chemicals. The product reacts naturally with the tannic acid in oak, darkening the wood and producing a rich, vintage patina. The final colour develops fully within 1–2 months, with variations depending on the natural tannin content of the oak.

How to use:

1. Sand wood to a clean, untreated surface.
2. Stir well and apply Antique Oak Lye evenly with a brush or pad applicator.
3. Allow to dry fully.
4. Finish with the chosen WOCA Oil or Soap to protect and enhance the final patina.
