WOCA Exterior Wood Primer 2.5 L

Water-based primer for outdoor softwood and vulnerable timber.

WOCA Exterior Wood Primer improves adhesion and durability of WOCA Exterior Oil when applied to non-pressure-treated or highly absorbent softwood species such as pine, larch, spruce, oak, and older pressure-treated wood (except red cedar). Specially developed as a fast-drying, water-based primer, it penetrates deeply to strengthen timber, reduce cracking, and prepare the surface for long-lasting outdoor protection.

Suitable for:

• Non-pressure-treated or absorbent softwoods
• Fir, acacia, larch, pine, oak, spruce and older pressure-treated woods

Not suitable for:

• Red cedar
• Pressure-treated hardwood (use WOCA Exterior Oil or WOCA Multi Protector directly)

How to use:

1. Clean surface with WOCA Exterior Wood Cleaner. Allow to dry completely.
2. Ensure treatment is in dry weather, 15–30 °C, avoiding direct sun and heat.
3. Shake container well.
4. Apply undiluted with brush or roller, working evenly and thoroughly.
5. Begin with end sections of the wood.
6. Within 14 days, finish with WOCA Exterior Oil to complete the system.

Important notes:

• Always test on an inconspicuous spot before full application.
• Primer is a pre-treatment only, final protection requires WOCA Exterior Oil.
